What is hire and reward insurance?: It covers carrying goods or passengers for payment. Standard van and car policies exclude it, so a courier working without it is effectively uninsured for that journey.
Do I need goods in transit cover as well?: Your motor policy covers the vehicle, not the load. Goods in transit covers the parcels themselves, and many delivery contracts require a minimum limit.
